At GTD we address the day to day issues Public Sector buyers face when dealing with firms that lack the end to end understanding of Government and Education purchasing needs. We've provided years of solutions, services and consulting to federal, state & local, education and healthcare customers who demand value and engineering excellence. We succeed by being responsive, innovative and customer focused. We currently provide to over 15,000 purchasing professionals in support of a number of agency specific task orders in the Public Sector and Open Market clients as well.
 
Tax Policy
You agree that you as buyer and we as shop owner are responsible for determining the amount of sales, use or other taxes that you may owe as a result of your Marketplace purchase. You also agree that as shop owner we are responsible to collect, to report and to remit any sales, use or other taxes as may be required under applicable law. You agree (a) that Rakuten.com has no responsibility to collect, report or remit sales, use or any other applicable taxes in connection with your purchase, and (b) to fully indemnify, defend and hold Rakuten.com harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, awards, fines, costs, expenses and liability in any way associated with foregoing. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Rakuten.com currently automatically charges sales tax with respect to any marketplace products shipped to California.
We do not currently ship to PO Boxes, APO Boxes, or FPO Boxes. We use a variety of shippers, some of whom do not allow delivery to PO Boxes. To prevent the need to cancel your order after it has been placed, we do not allow orders to ship to any PO Boxes for any orders. Additionally, there are certain restrictions on exporting certain kinds of technology outside of the United States. These restrictions complicate or prevent our suppliers from shipping products to APO or FPO mailboxes. As a result, we do not ship to any APO Boxes or FPO Boxes.

GTD Return Policy

GTD will make every effort to ensure a speedy and smooth customer return process.  Below you will find the guidelines for our returns process should you decide to return your order with GTD.  Any Return/RMA initiated with GTD will be subject to the following guidelines:

All returns/refunds must be initiated through Rakuten. GTD will not accept any returns/credits completed outside of the Rakuten portal.

Non-Defective items:

-In the event you would like to return a non-defective item to GTD, you must contact us within 30 days of receipt of the item to be eligible for a refund. After this we will be unable to process any refunds.

-For a non-defective return, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipment. Either a return address can be provided, or a prepaid label can be provided to which the cost will be deducted from any refund. You will always be notified of this cost prior to receiving the prepaid label. Per Amazon return policy, orders over $75 must be shipped via a tracking shipping method. We recommend Fedex Ground.

-All non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Opened items must be in resellable condition and have all original packaging/accessories

- All non-defect returns are subject to approval from GTD representatives. In the case your returned item does not pass GTD inspection, the order is subject to a denied return with no refund. In the case of either of these events, you will be notified.

Defective items:

-In the event you receive a defective product from GTD, you must contact us within 30 days of receipt of item(s) to be eligible for a refund/replacement. After this we will be unable to process any refunds, though item replacement will be on a case by case basis.

-For return shipments to GTD in the case of defect item, a prepaid return label will be provided. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be packaged in secure box with necessary packing materials, and include packing slip provided with return authorization.

-All defect returns are subject to approval from GTD representatives. In the case your returned item does not pass GTD defective item inspection, the order is subject to the non-defective return policy, which may result in a 15% restocking fee and non-refundable ship cost, or up to a denied return with no refund. In the case of either of these events, you will be notified.

Damaged items:

-In the event that an item shipped from GTD arrives damaged, Please refuse shipment and notify GTD within 48 hours  In case the damage is concealed, please notify GTD within 48 hours. You may be asked to provide photographic evidence of damaged items/shipment. Refunds may dependent upon a claim with the carrier, dependent on the details of the order. Damaged item claims will only be eligible for refund at the original delivery address.

Return Exemptions:

-Specific items, once entered the shipment process, will be ineligible to return to GTD.  Defective items falling under this category will be handled directly with the manufacturer. Items that fall under this category include but are not limited to: Televisions 42” and larger, furniture, large appliances

-Additionally specific items cannot be returned once they have been removed from original packing due to manufacturer restrictions and/or state/federal law include but are not limited to: Computers, PC software, video games, notebook batteries.

What to do if Your Order has been Shipped or Delivered
If your order has already shipped, then you can click the 'Contact Shop Owner' link (under the 'Available Actions' header to the right of the order listing) to access a Web form you may use to contact us. Rakuten.com Shopping holds its marketplace shop owners to high standards of quality, so you can expect a response back within one business day after contacting us.

What to do if Your Order is being Processed
If your order has not shipped, then you can click on our name in messaging located under 'Available Actions' to open up an email message with our email address already populated. Rakuten.com Shopping holds its marketplace shop owners to high standards of quality, so you can expect a response back from within one business day after contacting us.
